The Ewals Cargo Care ‘Store’ concept extends beyond simply handing and storage.  The scope of ‘Store’ includes a large range value added services throughout the supply chain.

Several customers ship from overseas manufacturing locations using Ewals Cargo Care to look after every activity from despatch to final delivery:     

•    Transport and tracking from production to arrival in Europe
•    Customs clearance
•    Quality control on arrival at the Ewals warehouse
•    Storage in high bay racking systems
•    Picking and pre-assembly of components in line with production plans
•    Packing and sequencing
•    J.I.T. delivery
•    Packaging return and control

All processes are measured in order to improve material flow and minimise costs, enabling Ewals to constantly review and adjust processes as demands dictate. This leaves our customers to concentrate on their core business.

Ewals Cargo Care has warehousing and cross-dock facilities throughout Europe totalling 450,000m². ‘Store’ services provide dedicated warehousing, common user warehouses, value added services, in-house services and supply chain synergies.
