The forwarder Intranordic is the key employee to initiate, organize and administrate all transports to and From Norway, Denmark and the Baltic countries.

Background

Ewals Cargo is in an expansive phase of business now. Our network operation with own trailers is steadily growing and in 2007 our IntraNordic department was started in order to handle our flows within the Nordic countries in an efficient manner. For 2008 further expansion towards the Baltic region has started. To cope with the growth of this department/markets we are looking for an experienced forwarder to enforce the IntraNordic team.

Detail of tasks

1. Commercial

· Buying of transports via other forwarders or the internet

2. Planning/forwarding

· Booking of transports

· Planning of the trucks on the Intra Nordic block

· Transport instructions to the carrier or directly to the drivers

· Follow up of the trucks during the transport/delivery process

3. Admin

· Follow up of administrational activities such as

· Invoicing questions

· CMR collection

· Toll charges

· Ferry crossing/cash advances

4. Customs

· Contact with customs brokers

Profile required

- University of higher educational level by either experience or education

- 2-5 years experience in the forwarding business

- Speaks fluently Swedish, English and preferably other foreign languages such as Norwegian, Finnish Russian or other Baltic languages
