Ewals Cargo Care recently signed a contract with supplier LAG in Bree, Belgium, to supply 300 Mega Huckepack trailers. The trailers will be delivered in mid-2008. The units are partly destined to expand the fleet and partly to replace existing equipment.

To expand the Intermodal traffic in Europe, Ewals Cargo Care has placed an order at Krone and Wecon (both of Germany) for the delivery of 150 units of 13.6 m of swap-bodies (C45 codification). The bodies have a sliding roof, heavy timber sticks and a new cargo-shifting prevention system. The units will be delivered early in 2008.

All of the units are certified in accordance with the secure-load standard: 12642XL
