Reducing carbon footprint for industrial transportation

Worldwide renowned tissue paper manufacturer Sofidel has presented Ewals Cargo Care a sustainability award for “Best Improver” in the category “Logistics Services”.

The Sofidel Group has always encouraged best practices and improvements in the field of social and environmental sustainability throughout its supply chain. That is why it has developed a system for assessing suppliers on working conditions, respect for human rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Since 2016, this has also enabled the Group to create the “Sofidel Suppliers Sustainability Award” (3SAward) including three categories: “Best Supplier”, “Best Improver” and “Best Sustainability Project”.

On December 6, this year’s best performing suppliers were announced during the official award ceremony held online: “2021 Sofidel Suppliers Sustainability Award – Clean It Up”. Based on our performance score, Ewals Cargo Care was presented the sustainability award for “Best Improver” in the category “Logistics Services”.
